Steel Adapters

HydraulicsDirect.com supplies our customers with stainless steel pipe fittings, which use standard NPTF pipe thread. We also supply other stainless adapters such as stainless steel 37 JIC fittings, stainless flareless compression fittings, stainless NPSM pipe swivel fittings, and stainless o-ring boss ORB fittings. These stainless steel pipe fittings are manufactured out of one-piece SS316 forged stainless stock steel and are inspected closely to the highest quality specifications.Stainless steel pipe fittings are used in applications where fluids require sanitary protection such as in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and bioengineering industries. Applications where chemical reactions can have a negative effect on the plumbing grid also utilize stainless steel fittings. These applications include chemical, fertilizer, petroleum products manufacturing.

Stainless Steel Fittings

Flareless tube compression fittings are used with metal tubing. These fittings require no flaring of the metal tube to install. Using a ferrule (ring) to compress onto tubing these fittings form a high pressure seal able to handle many thousands of psi.

Tube Compression Fittings

British Fittings are manufactured using British threads such as British Standard Pipe Parallel (BSPP) and British Standard Pipe Tapered (BSPT). These fittings and adapters are commonly found on equipment manufactured in the United Kingdom as well as from some OEM's in Europe. Metric fittings are more commonly found on mainland Europe equipment manufactured in such countries such as Germany, France, and Italy.

British and Metric

Flange adapter fittings are commonly used for hydraulic applications on mobile equipment. These flange adapters are installed using four-bolt flange kits and heavy duty bolts. The flat face has a machined O-ring groove to accept an O-ring (of either Buna N or Viton material). Code 61 flange adapters are rated to 3000 psi while Code 62 flange adapters are rated to 6000 psi. These adapters are equivalent to parts from Caterpillar Hydraulics, Parker, Gates, Goodyear, and Eaton Aeroquip.

Flanges

Using CA360 brass material stock, Hydraulics Direct supplies high quality brass fittings for hydraulic applications. Our brass adapters can be used in applications where low to medium pressures exist in the fluid lines. Applications involving water, refrigeration fluids, instrumentation controls, greases, fuels, LP and natural gas are well suited for brass adapters.
