Pipe (NPTF) (SS)
NPTF (National Pipe Tapered Fuel) thread that seals when the male taper mates with the female taper crushing the thread, creating a mechanical lock. It is recommended to use Teflon tape or pipe thread sealant to prevent leakage. Stainless steel fittings are used for applications requiring maximum corrosion or sanitary protection.
